Handcrafted Purifying Incense Brick

In traditional Chinese culture, incense has long been used to purify living spaces, dispel unwanted odors, and create a sense of balance. At Liangtao Mountain, we follow time-honored methods: each incense brick is entirely handmade—from preparing and blending the incense paste, to pressing it into molds, shaping, and naturally air-drying.

The formulation is grounded in Australian sandalwood and agarwood, enriched with frankincense, sage, and extracts of atractylodes. The resulting aroma is deep, earthy, and unrefined, with a distinct wild, natural character.

How to Use

Break off a small piece by hand. Using a torch-style lighter, ignite approximately 1 cm of the cross-section, then gently fan out the flame to allow it to smolder and produce smoke.

Due to its high natural oil content and the absence of any combustion aids, the incense may extinguish during use—simply relight as needed.

This incense produces a relatively dense smoke than incense sticks. It is recommended to use in a well-ventilated area, such as with open windows, or outdoors in courtyards, bathrooms, or any space that requires purification.
